On Call’s Global Response Center’s (GRC’s) biggest responsibility is to fulfill our mission of helping travelers, every day, in their time of need. Every phone call (or live chat, text, or email!) our Global Response Center receives is an opportunity to help someone get prepared to travel or solve a problem while they’re away – whether it’s a medical emergency, political threat, extreme weather, or even a more common issue like a missed flight. Our empathetic GRC Team works diligently behind the scenes, 24/7/365, to ensure travel problems are not only resolved as quickly as possible, but that our travelers feel safe, prepared and supported every step of the way.

A Little About Me:
I’ve been with On Call for over 8 years and love what I do, especially the opportunity to help others and make a difference every day. Originally from Guyana, I now call Florida home. I’m a proud parent to three amazing kids (ages 2, 10, and 12) and a pet named Charlie, who keeps our home lively. When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors with my family, diving into a good book, and discovering new adventures and fun activities with my kids. I believe in making the most of every moment, whether it’s at work, with family or exploring new experiences.

Why This Job is So Meaningful:
Working at On Call allows me to make a real impact in people’s lives every day. Whether it’s providing support in critical moments or simply offering reassurance, I take pride in knowing that what I do helps others. It’s fulfilling to be part of a team that values compassion, problem-solving and service. After more than 8 years, I still love the work because it aligns with my passion for helping people and making a difference.

How Have you Recently Made a Difference in a Traveler’s Day?:
Recently, I helped a traveler who was feeling overwhelmed due to unexpected changes in their plans. By staying calm, listening to their concerns, and finding a quick solution, I was able to turn their stressful situation into a smooth experience. Their gratitude reminded me why I love what I do.
