Meet The Team: On Call International’s Operations Supervisors

During complex, fast‑moving crises—like the recent situation in the Middle East—strong operational leadership is essential. It’s what ensures travelers get the right support at the right moment, no matter the time zone or the challenge.

Today, we’re introducing you to some of the people who lead that effort every day. Meet some of the members of our Operations Management Team!

Robin McLaughlin

A Little About Me:
I’ve been with On Call for over 14 years. Currently, I live in Nashua, New Hampshire with my husband and our Boston Terrier. I have two children—a daughter and a son. I’m definitely a homebody and I find most of my fun working on projects around the house. Right now, we’re renovating a couple of rooms, and I’m especially excited about the newest addition—a pool table!

Why This Job is So Meaningful:
My time at On Call has been incredibly rewarding. Our work allows us to support people who find themselves in unexpected situations while traveling far from home and aren’t sure where to turn. It’s fulfilling to know that we can make a real difference. I love how every day at On Call brings new challenges and opportunities to help travelers in need!

A Little About Me:
I’ve been with On Call for over 13 years. I grew up in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and now live in Charlottesville, Virginia. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, aerial skills, dance, live music, spending time outside (especially on the water), hiking, reading, and cooking.

Why This Job is So Meaningful:
It’s incredibly meaningful to be part of a team that helps travelers around the world during their times of need. Being able to support people through stressful and unexpected situations is very rewarding, and I’m proud to contribute to work that makes a real difference every day. I also appreciate that there is always a new challenge to solve and an opportunity to create better solutions for both our travelers and our team.

A Little About Me:
I joined On Callback in May 2015 as a summer temp, and now, more than a decade later, I’m still here! When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me cruising around on my motorcycle (in the Summer months!) and spending time with my husband, our two dogs, and also our nieces and nephews. I also love to read. Between physical books and audiobooks, I make my way through 40+ books a year.

Why This Job is So Meaningful:
Working at On Call is meaningful because we help people on some of their hardest days. Whether it’s something as simple as coordinating a doctor’s appointment or as complex as a security or medical evacuation, every interaction matters. Travelers reach out to us during highly stressful moments and knowing that we can step in and help them is a great way to spend your workday.
